I can’t resist the photos of my grandchildren, layered in clothes, playing in layers of leaves in the woodland. Autumn has arrived in the Cotswolds, and it is certainly a magical time of year.

I certainly enjoyed my visit to Ireland at the beginning of the month — the flowers were glorious, as the leaves were starting to prepare for change.

All is very well today as a new grandson was born yesterday, named Mateo. I am so thrilled.

I have been glued to my phone all day because my son and his wife are in the hospital in Madrid awaiting the arrival of their first child- a new grandson for me. I am rather excited as you can imagine!
