No footprints today
over park, pitch, or pavement.
Rampant rivers rule.
I took my little dog for a walk yesterday in Pershore and Tewkesbury. The Rivers Avon and Severn were both flooding. Although both Abbeys were still safe, the surroundiing areas were flooding ominously as my photographs show.
If someone could walk on water, would there be footprints? 🙂

Thank you, yes I like to take my camera out and about. I was planning on taking photos of my little dog but the floods were too good to miss!

Wow. Those rampant rivers did rule. Is this the result of a lot of rain?

Yes indeed, we have had a dreadful summer in UK with far too much rain. The fields are waterlogged and the rivers are full to bursting. This week was the last straw and the rivers burst their banks. Many homes are flooded and various areas are damaged. But today the rain has stopped so we hope that will be the worst of it over!

They sure did. Rained even more yesterday and lots of places are flooded in UK but today is calm and dry thank goodness!
