Thanks x I woke up early this morning and it just came to me. It reflects the fact that I write reams and reams of stuff which is never going to be read by anyone ~ hence the oblivion ~ and the paperboat seems so fragile in the inky sea ~ like my life really!
“sea of ink”… it suggests so many things to me: words are gone from the paper tinting the sea; no words, no memories, oblivion…
Wonderful! One of the best haiku today in my humble opinion.
That paper boat is carrying a lot of freight!
