Free Spirit ~ my beautiful daughter
I know the real me.
At the core of my being,
My spirit is free!
Nothing is free!
Mankind is a mess.
Motivated by money,
Morality’s mired.
Free Trade ~ there has to be a way found to share the earth’s resources more equitably. It is unsustainable for the majority to live in dire poverty while the minority consume without conscience.
Free trade or fair trade
Ethical extremities,
Conscience compromised.
Free people ~ I find it ridiculous that different ethnic peoples can not respect each other’s differences and reach compromise. Will conflict never end?
Trapped in tradition,
Hostages to history,
Future’s foreboding.
Free food ~ I find it amazing when I walk in the countryside, that there is an abundance of fruit on the trees and in the hedgerows, and people don’t seem to pick it. They prefer to go to a supermarket and buy inferior stuff at inflated prices in polythene bags. Why?
Free for the hungry
Nature’s abundant harvest
Hanging on the trees
I love every one of these! And couldn’t agree more. I’ve enjoyed reading your haiku this past month!

I too loved “spirit is free “..loved them all..
Was under the clutches of Viral fever and I scribbled the last haiku within minutes ( I know its very very bad)I just wanted to complete this challenge …
Many thanks for being a part of this amazing journey of HAIKU SEPTEMBER HEIGHTS…being a novice I tried to put in my best but I know at some or the other point I missed to hit the bull’s eye and still all of you all inspired me a lot either by peeping into my space or liking my posts and of course your ever encouraging comments made me feel on the top of the world…Loads of special thanks to each one of you…September had been very exciting and a learning month for me…I know I need to improvise a lot and I shall try to do that for sure …Thanks a lot once again…keep visiting and keep spilling your beans ..bouquets or brickbats all of them are accepted whole heartedly…

Thanks for reading my blog x I am relieved the challenge is over now and I can get back to writing my own thoughts and memories down. I will do the weekly haiku though as I love Haiku as a format for poetry. keep up the good work!

Wonderful set. I love ‘spirit is free.’ Ethical extremities on free trade – I sometimes wonder about.

Thanks for reading and commenting x Yes the trade issues are huge and complex but I do worry that for some the playing field is never level!
